LendInvest operates a technology-driven lending platform focused on bridging, development and buy-to-let mortgages for professional property investors and developers. The company debuted its bridge-to-let product in June 2024 and is now expanding the size and flexibility of its bridging loans, with individual facilities reaching up to £15 million. Since launching in 2008, LendInvest has originated more than £3 billion in property loans. In its December 2026 half-year results, the firm reported £664 million in new lending, a 23% year-on-year increase, and platform assets under management grew 17% to £3.45 billion. To support further growth, LendInvest has diversified its funding base, adding facilities such as a £500 million investment from Chetwood Financial, a debt financing line of up to £1.5 billion with JP Morgan, and a £300 million revolving warehouse with BNP Paribas, Barclays and HSBC. The new Castlelake partnership continues this strategy by securing additional capital specifically for larger and more complex bridging loans. Co-founders Christian Faes and Ian Thomas continue to steer the firm’s push into under-served segments of the property finance market.
