Following the latest investments, Nikhil Kamath’s entities and Plutus Wealth hold minority stakes in the company. Nazara’s shares were trading at Rs 936 and reached a 52-week high of Rs 989.4. Nazara is a mobile gaming publisher that holds licensed gaming rights for celebrities such as Virat Kohli and Hrithik Roshan and characters like Chhota Bheem, and publishes games tied to brands including Royal Challengers Bangalore. The company reports users in 61 countries, with a primary focus on India, Southeast Asia and Africa. Nazara is cash-flow positive. Management plans to take the company public next year. The firm was founded by Nitish Mittersain and is based in Mumbai. Recent financing activity has involved secondary, pre-IPO placements.
