    Solafune develops the “Planetary Intelligence OS,” an intelligence platform that integrates satellite data, geospatial information, OSINT and SIGINT through AI. The platform is primarily deployed in defense and intelligence sectors and is also applied to resource management, disaster prevention, agriculture and infrastructure monitoring. Solafune has secured projects with Japan’s Ministry of Defense, the National Police Agency, the Cabinet Office and various local governments, and has collaborated with foreign governments and U.N. agencies in Africa and Southeast Asia. Its satellite data analysis platform is used in over 120 countries and regions worldwide. Following the Series A, the company plans to invest in hiring engineers and product personnel, recruiting security talent, advancing generative AI and multimodal analysis, and upgrading computational and security infrastructure to accelerate international business.

    InfiniMind, founded by former Google Japan executives Aza Kai and Hiraku Yanagita, develops vision-language AI systems that turn petabytes of otherwise unused video and audio into actionable business intelligence. Its first product, TV Pulse, launched in Japan in April 2025 and already serves broadcasters, agencies, wholesalers, and other media clients by tracking product exposure, brand presence, sentiment, and PR impact in real time. The company’s forthcoming flagship platform, DeepFrame, is slated for beta release in March and full launch in April 2026; it can analyze 200 hours of footage at a time to identify specific scenes, speakers, or events with no-code workflows. InfiniMind differentiates itself through unlimited video-length processing, integrated audio and speech understanding, and a strong focus on cost efficiency for enterprise monitoring, safety, security, and content-analysis use cases. The startup is relocating its headquarters to the United States while maintaining an engineering office in Tokyo to support global expansion. It already has paying customers and plans to use new capital to hire more engineers, scale infrastructure, and commercialize DeepFrame. To date, InfiniMind has raised $5.8 million in seed funding.

    Founded in 2019, Osaka-based Univearth develops and operates LIFTI, a logistics digital-transformation platform that improves efficiency and visibility for carriers and shippers. The software blends routing, capacity management, and real-time data tools with the company’s direct operational expertise to tackle Japan’s driver shortages and legacy inefficiencies. Univearth positions itself as infrastructure for the country’s next-generation logistics ecosystem. With the fresh capital, the team plans to expand the LIFTI feature set, pursue strategic M&A, and hire aggressively across functions to support growth. Including the new financing, Univearth has secured a total of ¥536 million (approximately $3.5 million) to date. The company emphasizes building a sustainable, scalable model that benefits all stakeholders in Japan’s logistics value chain.

Founded by Tokinori Tokita and headquartered in Tokyo, the company positions itself at the intersection of fintech and regtech. With fresh capital, FormX plans to recruit additional engineers, reinforce platform security, and deepen collaborations with design partners. Management also intends to enhance product capabilities to “take disclosure to the next level.” Although still at the seed stage, the recent financing provides the runway to accelerate product development and market penetration.

    Nstock provides software for managing stock options (SOs), including contract management, rights-holder management, and visualization of SO economic value. Founded in 2022 and based in Tokyo, the company targets firms that use stock-based compensation. In September 2024 Nstock raised ¥3.0 billion to support product development, business registration, and new ventures. The company plans to expand its stock compensation SaaS and build an exchange for unlisted stocks slated for launch in 2025. Nstock is also exploring a reinvestment business to support new startups and strengthen Japan’s startup ecosystem.
