In September 2023 it raised $175M in a Series B led by Advent International. The company intends to use the funds to expand its business reach. Tredence is a San Jose, Calif.-based provider of analytics services and solutions that focuses on last‑mile delivery of insights into actions. Healthbox is a Chicago-based accelerator that provides programs and services for health startups and provider organizations. It has run seven startup accelerator programs over the last two years and has evaluated roughly 1,500 applicant companies. The company is expanding its offerings using $7 million in new funding to launch three business models under Healthbox Global Partners: Foundry, customized innovation and venture program development for health systems, and Healthbox Solutions to help startups with business development and provider introductions. Intermountain Healthcare, Health Care Service Corporation (the operator of certain Blue Cross Blue Shield plans) and Chicago Pacific Founders provided the new funding. Intermountain Health is Healthbox’s first client for Foundry, and Healthbox has assembled early-adopter providers to serve as initial customers for startups via Healthbox Solutions. Healthbox said it will invest in more than 50 new early-stage companies this year and continues to operate six accelerator programs across the U.S. and the U.K.
