- Moonshot AI
Participated · Equity · May 2026
Moonshot AI was founded in 2023 by Yang Zhilin, a former Meta AI and Google Brain researcher. The lab gained prominence with its open-weight Kimi models—Kimi K2.5 notably drove rapid adoption and Kimi K2.6 became one of the most-used LLMs on the OpenRouter distribution platform. Moonshot competes with models from OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, ByteDance, Alibaba, Zhipu and other Chinese AI labs. The company reported annual recurring revenue exceeding $200 million in April, fueled by paid subscriptions and API usage. Moonshot attracted significant investor support prior to this round, having raised about $3.9 billion over the prior six months and counting backers such as Alibaba, Tencent, HongShan, ZhenFund, IDG Capital and 5Y Capital. Its valuation progressed from about $4.3 billion at the end of 2025 to roughly $10 billion in early 2026 before the current $20 billion valuation.
- Windrose Technology
Led · Series C · Feb 2026
Founded in 2022, Windrose Technology focuses on “zero-carbon long-haul smart transportation” by producing large electric trucks such as its flagship Global E700, which carries a 700 kWh battery enabling a 670 km range at 49-ton gross weight and supports megawatt-level fast charging that adds 400 km in 35 minutes. The company has already obtained vehicle certifications in China, the United States, and Europe, and has begun large-scale deliveries to key Chinese customers while targeting major roll-outs in Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific by 2026. Its customer list includes Decathlon, Rémy Cointreau, Nestlé, and Kühne + Nagel, among others. Windrose operates a global headquarters in Antwerp, Belgium and is building assembly facilities in Belgium, France, and the United States, complemented by renewable-energy-powered charging infrastructure. A second-generation truck with an 800 km+ range is under development to extend the firm’s technological lead. Although current revenue figures were not disclosed, the company notes successful endurance tests in harsh environments ranging from the Chilean Andes to Australian grades and U.S. comparative trials against Tesla and Volvo trucks. Management is also considering future public listings in the U.S. and Europe.
- Rayneo Technology
Led · Equity · Jan 2026
Founded in 2017 and spun off from TCL Electronics in 2021, RayNeo Technology designs and manufactures consumer augmented-reality glasses. Its product lineup includes the V3 and X3 Pro models, both of which integrate Alibaba’s Tongyi Qianwen large language model to enable photo capture, voice interaction, video playback, and real-time navigation. At CES 2026 the company unveiled the X3 Pro Project eSIM, the world’s first consumer AR glasses with built-in eSIM and 4G connectivity. RayNeo has captured a leading share of China’s smart-glasses market, shipping tens of thousands of units and accounting for the majority of domestic sales before mid-2025. Management plans to leverage partnerships with carriers such as China Mobile and China Unicom to bundle glasses with mobile plans and tap nationwide retail outlets. IDC projects China’s overall smart-glasses market to grow 77.7% year-on-year by 2026, positioning RayNeo for continued expansion. No revenue figures were disclosed in the article, but the company’s rapid shipment growth underscores strong early commercial traction.
- Galaxy Bot
Led · Equity · Dec 2025
Founded in May 2023 by Peking University professor Wang He, Galaxy Universal Robotics builds general-purpose humanoid robots that integrate high-level perception, cognitive planning, and low-level motor control through its self-developed “AstraBrain” embodied large model. The company pairs this model with the world’s largest embodied-intelligence dataset (tens of billions of data points) and a virtual-real fusion training system called “AstraSynth,” which it claims yields 1,000× higher training efficiency than Tesla and a 99 % task-success rate. Flagship robot Galbot S1 already performs fully autonomous work inside CATL battery factories and carries 50 kg dual-arm payloads under harsh industrial conditions. Commercial pilots span hundreds of “Galaxy Space Capsule” retail stores, 24-city smart-pharmacy networks managing 5,000 SKUs, and deployments in top hospitals such as Xuanwu and West China. Industrial partners include CATL, Bosch, Toyota, BAIC, and SAIC, with cumulative industrial orders in the thousands. The firm’s valuation topped US $3 billion after a late-2025 round and “continues to lead the humanoid robot industry,” supported by record cumulative fundraising that now exceeds any peer in China.
- Daimon Robotics
Led · Equity · Dec 2025
Daimon Robotics develops a full-stack tactile intelligence stack—hardware sensors, large-scale physical-interaction datasets, and large models—centered on its Daimon-TWM "physical interaction brain" for dexterous robotic manipulation. Daimon-TWM is a tactile-grounded world model with about 10 billion parameters that the company says can run in real time on an NVIDIA RTX 5090 and that leverages unified tactile tokens to extract contact-related information from multimodal observations. The company has released what it describes as the world’s largest dataset for physical worlds with tactile modalities and reports that Daimon-TWM achieves roughly double the success rate of a baseline (π0.5) under unstressed conditions and up to ten times higher under disturbed conditions on contact-intensive manipulation tasks. Daimon emphasizes a three-layer architecture—physical cognition, predictive decision-making and high-frequency tactile-feedback control—supporting a "slow planning–fast correction" operational cycle. The team traces technical roots to CMU and HKUST researchers and began large-scale operations in Shenzhen at the end of 2023, with named leaders including co-founder and chief scientist Wang Yu, founder/CEO Duan Jianghua, chief AI scientist Yuan Weihao and tactile sensor lead Du Yipai.
