- HotGreen Solutions
Participated · Seed · Oct 2025
HotGreen Solutions is a UK cleantech startup building ultra-efficient, high-temperature heat pumps that generate low-carbon steam for industrial facilities. Its systems integrate with existing boiler infrastructure and deliver up to four times the efficiency of traditional fossil-fuel boilers, enabling rapid installation in three to five days. Typical customers such as breweries, distilleries, and dairy plants can save about €0.5 million annually on energy costs and avoid roughly 3,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions, achieving payback in under two years. Industrial process heat represents more than 20 % of global CO₂ emissions, positioning HotGreen’s technology to address a large climate and cost-sensitive market. The company plans to scale through pilot projects and commercial deployments, initially focusing on the food and beverage sector. Proceeds from its latest financing will fund product development and market expansion.
