Cellrox builds a BYOD 'multi-persona' mobile virtualization solution that supports two or more separate and complete OS installations on a single Android device. Its technology creates an "impenetrable wall" between employee applications and company data, enabling persona switching with a single swipe while preserving security, performance and user experience. The company positions this virtualization approach as its differentiator versus other BYOD-management players. Cellrox says it will use the $4.7M Series A to extend collaboration with OEMs and operators for installation in tier-one enterprises around the world. Previous funding is undisclosed, so total capital raised to date is not specified in the reporting. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in Tel Aviv, Cellrox targets enterprises managing growing numbers of employee devices.
