  Tieqia was founded in 2009 and started as an industry news site before expanding into a used construction-machinery marketplace (Tieqia Used Machines) and financing services (Tieqia Jinfu). The company reports a monthly average transaction volume above RMB 300 million and cumulative marketplace transactions of nearly RMB 6 billion since going online more than two years ago; excavators account for roughly 90% of this year’s transaction value. Tieqia currently focuses on used excavators and loaders and plans to accelerate category expansion into concrete equipment and lifting equipment. The company intends to push deeper into county-level markets and to use IoT technology to upgrade machines and broaden after-market services beyond used-machine transactions and financing. Tieqia also emphasizes building offline service networks and talent acquisition to support its expansion.
