The app was commercialized in August 2015 and was founded by Ronald Gautruche, who serves as co-founder and president. DigiFood originally focused on sport stadiums and plans to expand into concert halls and other high-traffic venues where food-service experience needs innovation. The startup has won two awards (BFM Académie 2016 and the Fundtruck prize at Viva Technology). DigiFood will use the new funding to hire staff and grow its portfolio of stadium partners. The company raised €500,000 in the current financing from Courtin Investment and other business angels.
