Templafy is a Denmark-born B2B SaaS platform focused on enterprise business document and content creation. The platform is agnostic to use case and integrates with applications where employees work, including Office, Google, Salesforce, Teams and Slack. Templafy positions itself as horizontally focused across multiple enterprise use cases rather than vertically focused on a single workflow. The company emphasizes solving "disconnected content" to improve compliance, efficiency and overall business performance. It competes to some extent with PandaDoc. Financially, Templafy has raised a total of $125 million to date, including a recent $60 million D round. Templafy offers a horizontal document-production platform that integrates with enterprise infrastructure and Microsoft Office to deliver corporate content assets, templates, and automatic validation across presentations, reports, contracts, proposals, emails and more. The company is used company-wide by large enterprises and positions itself as agnostic to document type, targeting any business document produced with traditional desktop software. Templafy has grown via acquisitions (SlideProof, Veodin and iWRITER) and opened an office in New York City. The company says it has more than doubled revenue in the past year and has sold over 2 million Templafy licenses worldwide. Templafy plans to use new funding to boost M&A activity, advance its product roadmap, and double headcount from about 200 to 400 full-time employees. It faces competition across multiple verticals but differentiates by taking a horizontal, platform-level approach to document production. Templafy provides enterprise template management and a document-creation platform that embeds custom company templates, brand assets and best-practice content directly inside office applications. The product streamlines creation of on-brand, compliant documents, presentations and emails for enterprise users. In August the company acquired SlideProof, adding a Berlin office to broaden its productivity offering, and in October it opened a U.S. office in New York City. Led by CEO Jesper Theill Eriksen, Templafy plans to use new funding to accelerate growth. Financially, the company announced an additional $15M in Series B financing, bringing total capital raised to $40.2M since its 2014 founding. Templafy provides a SaaS platform that delivers template management, brand governance and productivity across enterprise business communications. The platform supports any office platform and any device to ensure documents, presentations and emails are on-brand and compliant. The company serves Big Four professional services firms, Magic Circle law firms and multinational brands. Led by CEO Jesper Theill Eriksen, Templafy emphasizes integrations and enterprise-grade governance. The company recently raised growth capital to accelerate its expansion plans. It intends to use the funds to scale operations and expand its product and integrations offering. Templafy offers a cloud-based platform that ensures organizations maintain up-to-date visual and legal standards in templates, documents and presentations across applications and storage locations. The software integrates with Office 365 and other programs to deliver on-brand, compliant documents and eliminate manual, error-prone updates. The company reported selling 40,000 licenses in four countries and has contracts with customers including ATEA, DSB and Scandinavian Tobacco Group. Last summer Templafy received a 20 million DKK investment and the article notes the company’s latest capital round was described as tens of millions of DKK. Templafy has entered a collaboration with Microsoft to integrate on the Office platform and is positioning itself to expand into the U.S. market. The company has won the Traction Award at DEMO and The Battle of the Vikings pitch contest.
