Founders John Bentinck and Ilan Leshem draw on over 20 years of equity capital markets experience to modernise analogue and error-prone processes. The platform is used by over 90 banks and 400 institutional investors, rapidly digitising the equity issuance space. With the new funding, the company plans to connect asset managers' order management systems with banks to enable straight-through processing in capital markets transactions. It will also advance analytical data solutions to provide powerful data and analytical tools to banks and asset managers. Primary Portal completed the first stage of a £7.5 million Series A round led by DB1 Ventures, which makes Deutsche Börse a shareholder. Primary Portal provides a digital platform aggregating and digitising equity capital market deals, with a dashboard showing live IPOs, recently priced ABOs, convertibles, rights issues and other equity products. Founded in 2020 by John Bentinck and Ilan Leshem, the company has established themselves with over 50 banks and 1,000 active users across Europe and Asia. The firm launched its offering in the US market at the beginning of November and intends to expand operations and business reach there. Primary Portal plans to extend its product set to enable institutional investors to communicate feedback and indications of interest to banks. The company raised new funding to support these expansion and product-development plans. The fundraising strengthens its position as a market infrastructure provider for fund and flow traders.

The company raised €5 million in a funding round backed by NewAlpha Asset Management and a syndicate of investors. Proceeds will fund R&D in analytics, recruitment, the opening of a new London office, and wider expansion across Europe. CEO Davide Martucci said the investor cohort will help accelerate the company’s growth toward becoming a European leader in data management and analytics for fund industry operations. NewAlpha noted that rising regulatory demands around risk management, reporting and NAV oversight are driving demand for improved data management and oversight.

The API integrates with third-party systems and lets clients link their products to over 3,100 banks and other financial service providers. The company is led by CEO André M. Bajorat and CFO Heiko Rahlfs. figo completed a financing round of undisclosed amount. Backers named in the round include High‑Tech Gruenderfonds (HTGF), Carlo Koelzer and Joerg Heilig. The company says it will use the funds to strengthen its German market position and to expand into Europe.
