AsiaYo is a travel accommodation booking platform founded in 2014 and based in Taipei, Taiwan. The site offers a mix of rooms, apartments, hostels and hotels, and emphasizes verified listings and multilingual customer support via Line, Facebook, WeChat and help lines. It targets younger intra-Asia tourists and uses an AI-based algorithm, AYSort, to create "hyper-personalized journeys" and booking suggestions. AsiaYo works with roughly 50 partners (including Hong Kong Airlines, KKday and Rakuten LIFULL STAY) and runs reward programs and deals. The company reports about 300,000 members, roughly 60,000 listings across 60 cities, a team of about 100 people, and says overseas bookings account for 60% of its business. New funding will support launches in Singapore and Malaysia and a new Japanese website slated for next year.
