Vidcare Technologies is a Pune-based startup founded in 2017 that develops point-of-care and consumer diagnostic tests built on its patented Mu-sure lab-on-a-chip platform. The Mu-sure technology is positioned as an alternative to conventional lab methods and bulky devices, enabling convenient, accessible testing anywhere and faster results for clinical decisions. Its first product targets hypothyroidism testing, a condition the company says affects more than 150 million Indians. Vidcare plans further product development, clinical testing, and real-world effectiveness studies ahead of regulatory approvals and early commercialization. The company aims to expand reach into smaller cities and remote areas through partnerships with public health systems, NGOs, and pharma companies. Founders include Rohan Aggarwal, Karan Aggarwal, and Saurabh Kumar Srivastava.

Ameliorate Biotech is a PadUp mentee developing ASSURED, a device for rapid detection of malaria, chikungunya and dengue. ASSURED is designed to provide early detection of these mosquito-borne illnesses and support public-health efforts. CEO and co-founder Dr Rashbehari Tunga said the product will contribute immensely to the nation’s fight against these diseases by enabling early detection. The company raised Rs 2 Cr in angel funding to support its work. The funds will be used to conclude clinical trials efficiently and to pursue subsequent commercialisation of the kits.
