It has secured more than $1 billion in customer orders and established deep manufacturing and supply-chain partnerships, including opening a factory in Taiwan. Etched is currently validating its first rack-scale inference product with customers. The company’s near-term plans emphasize production, manufacturing scale-up, and deployment of its inference systems, supported by cumulative funding of $800 million.

The company is repositioning itself as a global, enterprise-grade SaaS platform that acts as an autonomous Data Science Agent, employing generative-AI reasoning to transform raw data into accurate, ready-to-use predictive models in a short time. By combining Generative AI and Predictive AI, ELAI aims to democratize access to advanced predictive intelligence, making it usable by business professionals rather than only data scientists. The firm has attracted experienced leadership with the appointment of Antonio Sciuto—former Global Business Development Officer at Salesforce and President of Nestlé North America—as Chief Executive Officer. Sciuto’s stated objective is to shift predictive AI from experimentation to scalable, measurable business impact. Backed by a new €3 million capital infusion, ELAI intends to accelerate global expansion and compete even with hyperscalers in the AI space.
