Ikiora is a local-ecommerce marketplace established in Zaragoza in 2012 by Angel Bondía, Isabel Velasco and Laura D’Accardi. The platform digitises neighbourhood store catalogues and connects them with local consumers, initially targeting the food and gifts segments. Purchases are delivered in under an hour, providing shoppers with convenience, time savings and reduced travel costs. Retailers receive an end-to-end ecommerce solution covering order management, logistics and advertising and pay only on completed sales. The founders initially invested €25,000 to build the service.
