Josys is a SaaS Management platform that simplifies how IT works by giving teams 360-degree control over apps and users. Its product helps visualize user access, analyze utilization trends, and automate provisioning to reduce IT overhead. The company recently announced general availability of a Multi-Tenant Portal and is launching two new services to improve SaaS management efficiency. Josys plans large-scale investments in product development in its Silicon Valley and Bangalore offices and aims to increase development speed tenfold over the next two years. Financially, Josys secured $100 million in venture debt and previously raised $125 million; since its September 2023 Series B it reports 3x revenue growth and a doubled customer count in Japan, plus expansion into the U.S., Australia, and Southeast Asia. The company also opened a 10,000 sq. ft. SaaS Operations Excellence Center in Kaihin-Makuhari, Chiba City, staffed by 30 analysts and planning to grow to 100 by end of 2025. Josys offers a SaaS management platform plus IT outsourcing services that automate corporate IT application management and the device lifecycle (purchasing, configuration, shipping, repairing and storage). The platform added features since its Series A such as Shadow IT discovery, SaaS usage visualization and real-time asset tracking via a master data management system. Josys serves about 300 small- to medium-sized enterprises, up from 90 in August 2022, reports net revenue retention above 140%, and has reached profitability with a customer acquisition cost payback period of under one year. The company has expanded operations to the U.S. and multiple Asian markets (including Singapore, India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand and South Korea) and aims to offer services in over 100 countries by 2025. As of August it had roughly 120 employees and plans to grow to about 240 by year-end; the new capital will be used to double the product and engineering team and expand distribution channels. Josys is a Japanese B2B SaaS platform spun off from parent company Raksul last year that launched an automated IT device management and SaaS application in September 2021. Its core product reduces IT operation costs and enhances security by automating device and SaaS management while offering professional services such as device procurement, kitting/BPO, and storage. The company says its monthly recurring revenue (MRR) grew 29x from Q1 to Q4 in 2022. Clients range from large enterprises to small companies, including Japanese cosmetics firm iStyle. Josys aims to accelerate customers' digital transformation and plans to expand overseas, starting with Singapore and targeting markets including India, Australia, New Zealand, the U.K., Germany, the Netherlands, the U.S., and Canada. It also intends to strengthen its R&D base in India and its sales team in Japan.
