  • Nodu

    Led · Seed · Dec 2025

Nodu is a London-based, Latvian-rooted startup founded in 2025 by Alex Novozhenov, Vladislav Nikolayev and Daria Dubinina to upgrade Europe’s payment rails with stablecoin technology. Its platform allows banks, fintechs and enterprises to send, receive and hold stablecoins while automatically handling Know-Your-Customer, Anti-Money-Laundering and reporting requirements. The software unifies fiat and digital-asset rails into one regulated workflow and offers a stablecoin off-ramp spanning more than 100 countries for near real-time, low-cost payouts. Before launching, the team brought in interest from over 40 existing Crassula clients, more than 20 partners and a network of 15,500 industry contacts. Revenue figures have not been disclosed, but the company positions itself as a faster, compliance-focused alternative to in-house builds for EU financial institutions. With fresh capital, Nodu plans to widen geographic coverage, grow its engineering and compliance teams, and deepen relationships with banks and fintechs.

  • Paysend

    Led · Equity · Jun 2019

Founded in 2017 and headquartered in the UK, Paysend operates a global digital payments network that connects more than 25 billion endpoints and serves over 12 million customers. The platform supports cross-border transactions in more than 170 countries and has reported increasing payment volumes as it scales internationally. Paysend offers products for both consumers and enterprises and continues to expand its product suite. The company emphasizes development of proprietary technology to underpin its network and product roadmap. Recent funding from an existing investor is intended to accelerate geographic expansion and product launches. Claret Capital cited Paysend’s scalable infrastructure and execution against growth plans as reasons for the follow-on investment.

  • Cashboard

    Led · Series A · Nov 2016

Cashboard operates an online platform that identifies and combines products from multiple providers into a single account, positioning itself as a curated marketplace for retail investment. Unlike typical robo-advisors that focus on passive ETFs, Cashboard offers access to a broader spectrum of asset classes, including call money, stocks, and crowd lending, and invests on users' behalf. Users set savings goals and risk levels; the service suggests a selection of asset classes and providers and manages portfolio diversification. The company charges a 10% performance fee on net profits each year. Cashboard says it will use its Series A proceeds to grow its team and internationalize the service. CEO and co-founder Robert Henker frames the product as making curated, multi-provider investment options understandable and accessible for retail investors. CASHBOARD operates a digital investment platform that lets private and institutional investors open individual accounts and depots online and invest from €100. The service uses fully automated algorithms for portfolio management, risk mitigation and tax optimisation. Investors can allocate to traditional assets (funds, shares, real estate, overnight deposits) and innovative assets (P2P lending, crowdfunding and social trading). The platform is free to users and operates on a success-oriented, profit-sharing basis. CASHBOARD partners with the European Bank for Financial Services (ebase) for financial security while a comdirect subsidiary manages invested funds. Account opening is completed online via video verification and electronic signatures. The company had won €4 million in media time at the SevenVentures Pitch Day and planned a ProSiebenSat.1 ad campaign for Autumn 2015. CASHBOARD recently raised new funding to support further growth.
