  • MyDesignation

    Participated · Series A · Feb 2026

Founded in 2020 by husband-and-wife duo Swaroop Krishnan and Gopika B Raj, MyDesignation positions itself as a design-led, community-driven fashion label that focuses on culturally inspired casual wear for everyday and occasion use. The company primarily sells online but has begun building an offline footprint in Bengaluru, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, and Calicut. To date, it has served more than one million customers nationwide and reports strong repeat-purchase rates, driving approximately 100 percent annual revenue growth. MyDesignation employs roughly 100 people and plans to bolster leadership across finance, supply chain, merchandising, and marketing. Future initiatives include launching new product categories and executing a structured offline expansion strategy, with eight additional stores slated for Chennai, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru over the next year. The recent capital infusion strengthens its balance sheet as it scales both digital and physical channels.

  • FabAlley

    Led · Equity · May 2021

High Street Essentials (HSE) runs the women-focused fashion labels FabAlley and Indya, selling apparel that spans everyday styles to premium occasion and wedding wear. The company currently operates 12 Indya brand outlets across eight Indian cities and is present in 150 large-format retail stores. It reported EBITDA profitability in April 2024, with the Indya brand growing more than 30% year-over-year. Management is targeting 50% YoY EBITDA growth and PAT positivity in FY25. To capture a share of India’s roughly US$15 billion wedding-wear market, HSE plans to scale its “Weddings By Indya” line, adding 10 dedicated wedding stores this fiscal year. International expansion is also on the roadmap, with a second overseas outlet slated for Malaysia and additional stores planned in the USA and South Africa within 18 months. Over the next few years, the firm intends to grow its domestic store network by more than 100 locations and invest heavily in brand marketing.
