UltiZen Games began as a game outsourcing company and now operates three divisions: UltiZen (outsourcing), U-Pal (online game development and publishing) and Mo-Star (mobile games development and publishing). The company develops and publishes web and mobile games and provides game development services to third parties. It employs nearly 400 people across Shanghai, SuZhou and Beijing. In June 2010 UltiZen released its first iPhone/iPad title, Princess Fury. The company plans to expand its online web game publishing and mobile games businesses and is expected to launch a comprehensive game portal with more than five new titles in the second half of 2010 under the U-Pal brand. The new strategic focus pairs continued outsourcing work with increased in-house publishing and mobile development.
