  Wesii, founded in Chiavari in 2016, develops remote-sensing and inspection services using drones and unmanned aerial vehicles to analyze renewable-energy installations and electrical infrastructure. Its technology geolocates and detects anomalies on photovoltaic, wind and grid assets, offering faster, lower-cost alternatives to traditional ground inspections. The company began with sports-market applications—tested with FIGC and on stadium turf—and was the first startup in Chiavari incubator Wylab before shifting focus toward the energy sector. Wesii completed a €2.8 million capital increase led by Terna Forward and DXT Commodities. Management says proceeds will be invested in innovation and used to increase market share, targeting large European plants and small rooftop systems in Italy via a semi-automated sales system. Founder Mauro Migliazzi and Wylab highlight the team and vision as key drivers of the company’s growth.
