Addapptation is developing a template-driven UX platform that sits on top of Salesforce and other enterprise tools to make workflows simpler and more consistent. The platform provides a guided experience either as a standalone login or as a layer within Salesforce and includes around 40 plug-ins such as a heat map to identify high-opportunity sales areas. Solutions are designed to work online and on mobile and typically take no longer than two weeks to build and implement. The company aims to reuse solutions it creates for customers to accelerate deployments across clients. Founders Sumner and Carla Vanderhoof bootstrapped the product over three years before the seed raise and say they have a cooperative relationship with Salesforce rather than competing with it. Addapptation has 15 employees in its Exeter, New Hampshire headquarters and serves 20 customers including Comcast and Ingram Micro. Today it raised a $1.3 million seed to fund continued product development and customer deployments.
