Its offerings span business strategy, marketing, technology, data analysis, UX design, and social media. The platform also offers industry-certified programmes in partnership with brands such as PUMA, Samsonite, and Infinity Cars. With fresh capital, the company plans to expand its product portfolio, onboard key talent, strengthen marketing outreach, and build distribution channels within and beyond India. It intends to introduce a wider range of Junior MBA subjects and additional industry-partnered programs over the next six months. The company recently completed a Pre-Series A funding round totalling $1.5 million.

The company says it provides data-driven, personalized coaching tailored to each learner's preparation level. Oliveboard plans to expand its portfolio of national-level courses, add state-level categories, and invest in technology for interactive, data-driven products for customized learning. The firm claims to have eight million users across India. Management frames the pandemic as a catalyst accelerating adoption of online solutions formerly dominated by offline coaching. The company and investors cite a large market opportunity, with the government job entrance exam preparation industry estimated at about Rs 40,000 crore.

Simulanis builds AR/VR and computer-based skilling programmes and work-environment simulations for engineering students and employees in industries such as auto, oil and gas, railways, FMCG and pharmaceuticals. Founded in 2013 and based in Delhi, the company moved from computer-based modules to incorporating virtual and augmented reality in 2015. It has started operations in the United Kingdom via a subsidiary and posted revenues of Rs 62 lakh in FY 2016-17. CEO Raman Talwar has said he plans to raise around a couple of million dollars in a Series A to expand the company's offering to a platform level and enhance its products. The company received a $500,000 pre-Series A from Education Catalyst Fund; Education Catalyst's director said Simulanis faces little competition in the Indian market and offers innovative products. Earlier it raised an undisclosed pre-Series A from Village Capital and a consortium of investors including industry executives.
