The startup works with about 30 schools in Egypt and has over 3,000 registered users, with a target of 20,000 users by the end of the year. Colnn was founded in 2015 by Tamer Samir. The company had been bootstrapped until this funding and underwent a six-month in‑house incubation programme with its new investor. Management has said the startup plans to sign deals in GCC and MENA countries in the coming months.
