  Frenzoo develops a new class of 3D lifestyle and fashion games for iOS and Android aimed at girls and women. The company focuses on free lifestyle and fashion entertainment titles and intends to launch its Me Girl™ brand. Frenzoo raised US$1m in seed funding to support that launch. Backers in the round include Efficient Corporate, Siemer Ventures, K5 Ventures and Metaverse Services. As part of the transaction, veteran gaming executive Doug Glen joined Frenzoo’s board and fashion stylist and blogger Jasmine Webster became an advisor. The company is led by CEO and co-founder Simon Newstead and is based in Hong Kong, China, and San Francisco, California. Frenzoo is a Hong Kong–based 3D social networking company that enables users to express themselves by personalizing 3D characters and mixing and matching branded clothes, footwear, accessories, furniture and lifestyle items. The product runs on a downloadable application that offers native social network browsing and instant messaging. Frenzoo uses a "RealFashion 3D Engine" to simulate characters, clothing and living environments in true 3D, leveraging recent advances in graphics hardware. The service is currently in closed beta with a public launch scheduled for the second half of 2007. The company raised a Series A round aimed at expanding the service throughout Asia; terms of the deal were not disclosed.
