Egg FORWARD
Minato, Chiba, Japan
Overview
EggFORWARD has provided consulting services to more than 1,000 companies, ranging from major corporations to start-ups, aiding in their management and organizational transformation. Our mission is to cultivate a "startup co-creation ecosystem" aimed at making positive changes in society as a whole by providing comprehensive support. This support encompasses (1) capital participation through investment, (2) consulting service in management and organizational strategies, (3) access to a professional network, and (4) provision of incubation space. We aspire to generate and disseminate value in collaboration with fellow “comrades” who share this philosophy. (1) Capital Participation through Investment In conventional consulting support, it was challenging to get involved with startups that have limited investment capacity, making it arduous to support them in achieving sustainable, medium- to long-term corporate growth. Therefore, we take the initiative to invest in and offer consulting assistance to startups committed to addressing societal challenges, with the objective of enhancing their value over the medium to long term. (2) Strategic and Organizational Transformation Support As professionals in corporate transformation support, EggFORWARD has been deeply engaged in assisting the transformation and expansion of numerous leading unicorn companies as well as major Japanese corporations. From our extensive experience, we have found that startups frequently encounter challenges related to the misalignment between their mission, vision, and values (MVV), business strategy, and organizational and human resource strategy as they progress in their growth journey. In response, we are implementing a “Purpose Management / MVV Management” system designed to provide consistent support for addressing these issues. (3) Professional Network In addition to EggFORWARD’s vast experience in supporting startups, we are committed to facilitating connections with professionals and advisors across diverse fields as necessary to bolster the growth of startups from multifaceted angles. Furthermore, we aim to foster horizontal connections, encourage knowledge sharing, and promote co-creation opportunities among startups that are part of our ecosystem. (4) Offering a Community Space Around Connections We created an incubation space where individuals and organizations can come together to forge new opportunities for innovation and transformative growth located at Shibuya. Located just a few minutes walk from the station, we are leveraging the unique characteristics of this area to build a community space where value is created together with like-minded “friends” who share the same philosophy.

PR Table provides talentbook, a one‑stop recruitment PR platform that plans recruitment strategy, creates content, distributes it, and accumulates engagement and action data to optimize digital PR for hiring. The company says it has served more than 1,200 enterprise and growth customers across industries. In the past year PR Table reports revenue roughly doubled and headcount expanded from 35 to 64 employees. It intends to invest the new proceeds into talentbook product development and its own hiring to strengthen organizational support for enterprise recruiting marketing. The firm was founded in 2014 and is based in Chiyoda, Tokyo. Cumulatively it has raised ¥1.7 billion (including capital‑type loans). PR Table rebuilt and rebranded its flagship corporate-branding SaaS from PR Table to talentbook, positioning the product as a company-focused talent directory that highlights employees. The service, launched in December 2015 by founders from Ozmapr and RareJob, is intended both for external employer branding and internal culture diffusion. Talentbook is described as a “new business card,” enabling users to surface employee backgrounds online to support post‑COVID business matching and introductions. The company has added features to diagnose reactions to published content and plans to support customer PDCA cycles to drive more effective culture‑penetration activities. User adoption has grown to just over 100 corporate customers (about 1,000 including free users). The firm says the talent‑focused positioning may lead to new SaaS launches, partnerships, or acquisitions to expand its corporate‑branding offering.

Ubie, founded in 2017 and based in New York, offers the Ubie AI Symptom Checker, a medically vetted platform that guides users to appropriate care pathways using predictive models. The company supports over 1,800 provider organizations and leverages disease-prediction AI to help patients navigate healthcare systems. As of June 2025 Ubie has secured over $125 million in cumulative funding. The reported capital will be used to support U.S. expansion, develop generative AI for patient education, and continue refining provider-focused solutions in partnership with the Mayo Clinic. Investors named in the report include Google, JAPAN POST CAPITAL, NTT DOCOMO, SEVEN-ELEVEN JAPAN, Japan Finance Corporation and The Shoko Chukin Bank. Ubie is a healthtech company founded in May 2017 that builds AI-powered products to guide people to appropriate medical care. Its consumer offerings include the symptom search engine Ubie (Japanese and US versions) and Ubie Disease Q&A, together reaching about 10 million monthly users. For healthcare providers it offers Ubie AI Medical Navi, a digital intake and diagnosis-support tool adopted by more than 1,700 medical institutions since its 2018 launch. The company also operates matching businesses that connect consumers and medical providers and has collaborated with pharmaceutical firms, engaging with over two-thirds of global mega‑pharma since its pharma business launch in late 2021. Ubie established a U.S. office in 2022 as part of its international expansion. It plans to use recent funding to grow its pharma-facing business, enhance consumer service features, develop new businesses, and invest in system development and marketing for the Ubie platform. Ubie provides an AI-powered symptom checker app for consumers and a B2B hospital product called Ubie for Hospital (AI Monshin) that automates preliminary patient interviews. AI Monshin selects and asks around 20 questions from 3,500 question types using data extracted from about 50,000 medical research papers. More than 1,100 medical institutions in Japan use AI Monshin, and the consumer app has over 7 million monthly active users. The company employs approximately 200 people. Ubie launched its symptom checker in the U.S. earlier this year, opened a U.S. subsidiary in October, and entered Singapore in August as initial steps toward global expansion. It plans to scale its healthcare platform and ramp up U.S. penetration, while pursuing partnerships with pharmaceutical companies (many based on the U.S. East Coast). Ubie offers an AI-powered patient questionnaire that guides patients from symptoms to appropriate medical care and improves operational efficiency in the medical field. The company is led by CEO Yoshinori Abe. It is building a medical data platform to connect patients, medical institutions, and pharmaceutical companies. Ubie says the platform will help ensure patients visit the right medical institution at the right time and help physicians access relevant, up-to-date knowledge. The company also aims to help pharmaceutical companies provide patients with appropriate information and scientific findings related to their conditions. Ubie intends to use its recent funding to support business growth in Japan and the U.S.
