Its core product is a digital health platform staffed by expert clinicians—CDCESs and endocrinologists—that supports remote patient care and chronic disease management. The company has logged over one million remote patient interactions, reflecting significant usage of its telehealth services. Cecelia plans to expand its digital health capabilities and scale adoption of its technology-enabled coaching and telemedicine solutions using the new capital. It intends to launch a commercial Virtual Clinic that will provide CGM training, medication-adherence education, lifestyle and behavior-change support, and mental-health screening and counseling. The Fit4D clinical team is comprised primarily of CDEs with clinical credentials such as nurses, registered dietitians, pharmacists, exercise physiologists and social workers. The company partners with health plans and providers and has engaged in joint initiatives with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the American Diabetes Association, the Diabetes Research Institute and the American Association of Diabetes Educators. In April 2018 the company raised $4M in expansion financing and intends to use the funds to consolidate its market position.
