The company was founded by Mr. Umair Masoom.

The studio was founded by Dr Loretta Chen and Ruel Sarmiento, combining creative direction, media and academic experience with art, gaming and trained architecture. Headquartered in Singapore with offices in Canada, the USA and Bhutan, Smobler has already onboarded clients including The Food Bank Singapore and Aventis Graduate School. The company closed a USD$1.2m seed funding round to scale operations and form joint ventures to create voxel art and gamemaker academies to train virtual architects and metaverse designers. Smobler plans to use the funding to expand its reach into Asia, Latin America, Canada and the USA.

Galaxy Blitz is a space-themed massively multiplayer online Play-to-Earn combat strategy and NFT game designed by people behind Clash of Clans, with a planned Q2 2022 launch. The game uses blockchain-powered NFTs and tokens to create a GameFi ecosystem where players earn rewards by farming, 'blitzing' competitors, plundering loot, and participating in PVE content. The team is primarily based in Northern Europe and is largely staffed by veterans who worked on Clash of Clans and Boom Beach at Supercell; staffing is split roughly 70% developers, 20% designers, and 10% marketing and operations. The project has a native MIT token and details on tokenomics and in-game economy are in the whitepaper. The team disclosed plans for an NFT pre-sale and an IDO, and intends to integrate VR (first on mobile, then PC) in future releases. The project has stated an intention for the token to be carbon neutral through purchasing carbon credits and partnerships focused on environmental protection.
