Overview
Enterprise Holdings is driven to be in the car rental business's driver's seat. Through its Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Alamo Rent A Car, and National Car Rental subsidiaries, the company owns and operates a fleet of more than 1 million passenger cars and trucks. It rents out its vehicles from more than 8,000 locations, most of which are based in airports and neighborhoods in North America, Europe, and Asia. It also operates a commercial truck rental business, as well as a car sales business that sells the company's vehicles after it removes them from the rental fleet. Enterprise Holdings was formed in 2009 to combine Enterprise Rent-A-Car with its Vanguard Car Rental subsidiary (Alamo and National's former parent).

Moxion Power is a California-based clean energy startup building mobile, maintenance-free battery-powered generators intended to replace diesel generators. Its mobile energy storage units are designed for temporary power needs across construction, events & entertainment, utilities, EV fleet operators, and government agencies. The company says its units can be deployed within hours and operate quietly and emission-free, enabling indoor use and reduced cabling on film sets. Moxion designs, engineers, and manufactures its core technologies and battery modules in-house, according to CEO Paul Huelskamp. The startup emphasizes lower maintenance and higher efficiency compared with diesel generators. Financially, Moxion has raised a total of $110 million from strategic and institutional backers. Amazon has also leased units for two video productions, illustrating early commercial deployments and customer interest.
