  Vimoc Technologies offers an open distributed computing platform that secures and manages smart infrastructure services and enables an "Understanding of Things (UoT)" to gather and correlate sensory intelligence. Its solution is designed for use by citizens, businesses, city officials and Infrastructure Service Providers to better manage resources and create operational efficiencies. The company’s services combine sensory data with additional sensor inputs and local computing resources to deliver new generations of applications. Vimoc is led by Co‑Founder and CEO Tarik Hammadou and is based in Mountain View, CA. It completed a $2.4M first close of its initial seed funding and expects the round to close within February. The company will use the proceeds to expand adoption of its products and services and to grow its product offerings.
