  Trilogy Education is a workforce accelerator that partners with universities to prepare professionals for careers in coding, data analytics, UX, and cybersecurity. Led by CEO and founder Dan Sommer and founded in 2015, the NYC-based company powers hundreds of part-time and full-time classes on campuses including Columbia University, UC Berkeley, UT Austin, and Northwestern University. Its programs run in more than 35 markets across North America and are supported by proprietary technology, a network of instructors and coaches, and market-driven curricula. Since launch, thousands of working adults have completed Trilogy-powered programs. More than 1,500 companies—from startups to Fortune 500 firms—have employed Trilogy graduates. The company plans to use new funding to accelerate expansion of its platform and global impact. Trilogy Education Services operates as a continuing education program manager enabling universities to offer market-driven, skills-based programs in web development, data analytics and visualization, and UI/UX in part-time and full-time formats. The company provides career services, access to industry partners, and a learning and instructor analytics platform to improve the student experience. Led by founder and CEO Dan Sommer, Trilogy has expanded since its September 2015 launch to include twenty-one university partners with campuses across the U.S. Trilogy intends to use the new capital to continue expanding operations and its business reach. The company is NYC-based and emphasizes partnerships with universities to scale program delivery.
