Correlsense develops application monitoring and performance management software, offering its SharePath product suite to give visibility into where and why application problems occur. SharePath covers multiple protocols, platforms and end-user technologies to support IT operations professionals. The company serves large customers in the financial, telecom and retail sectors. Correlsense was founded in 2005 and is led by CEO Ken Marshall, operating out of Framingham, MA. The company recently closed a $3M Series C funding round. It intends to use the capital to expand sales and technology partner channels and to enhance its sales and marketing teams. Correlsense provides business transaction management solutions centered on its flagship product, SharePath. SharePath is a Business Transaction Management (BTM) platform that monitors and tracks all transactions of an application in real-time. The platform supplies IT departments with the data needed to manage service level agreements, monitor performance, plan capacity, handle change management and implement chargebacks. The company raised $8M in a Series B financing led by Accel Partners, with participation from Vertex Venture Capital, eXceed Technology and ProSeed Ventures. The new financing will support growing Correlsense's customer base and further development of its distribution channels with partners in North America and Europe.
