Intelligo offers Clarity, an AI-powered risk intelligence platform that automates background checks by combing more than 400,000 public data sources and surfacing legal, professional, regulatory, financial and media information. The platform combines multiple layers of AI and automation with in-house expert review to produce final reports and continued monitoring with alerts. Customers access a dashboard that provides a 360-degree view, source links and collaboration tools; reports return in 30 minutes to five days. The product is used by hundreds of customers, mainly investment banks, private equity firms and hedge funds with combined assets under management of over $500 billion. The company has seen 200% revenue growth over the past three years and expects 300% growth in the current year. Moving forward Intelligo plans to double headcount and expand the capabilities of Clarity and its geographic footprint. Intelligo is an Israeli startup that uses AI and machine learning to speed up, automate and deepen background checks. Launching out of beta, its automated platform indiscriminately scans thousands of data sources — including social media and news sites — and presents findings in an interactive dashboard. The automation shortens turnaround (traditional checks can take a week or longer) and cuts cost; Intelligo says its prices are about half the average market price. That lower pricing is enabling small and midsize businesses to obtain higher-level background checks previously used mainly by large corporations. The company also offers an ongoing monitoring product targeted at the investment world to alert funds to management or portfolio-company issues after initial diligence. To date Intelligo has raised $6.8M (a $1.1M seed and a $5.7M Series A) and lists investors such as Eileen Murray and advisors including former NSA director Michael McConnell and Pinhas Buchris.
