Overview
Over the past two years, Fibernetics Corporation first got its “feet wet” testing Their incubation methodology with Their initial Fibernetics Ventures like Fongo, Rack and Data, and CloudatCost.com. All three have grown and evolved into strong pieces of the integrated Fibernetics future. These companies were created to address a need in the market for new products or services that complemented Fibernetics’ core offerings but were distinct enough to require their focus from small, dedicated teams. This allowed them to get rapidly to market while allowing Fibernetics to keep growing its core businesses with as little distraction as possible. A large reason for their success was that they were able to leverage Fibernetics’ existing network capacity, infrastructure investments, and human capital to gain competitive advantages in their respective markets. These cost advantages allowed these ventures to launch unique and disruptive products while creating new, sustainable revenue streams providing secondary growth opportunities for Fibernetics Corporation.

The product surveys employees once a day with one-minute questions and builds models to identify sentiment patterns correlated and causal to organizational performance. Plasticity targets rapid-growth small- to medium-sized businesses and positions itself between HRIS/consulting firms and employee rewards programs. In the past 12 months the company grew from one to 12 enterprise customers, and it now has teams in 11 countries with plans to add employees in another 11.
