Vynca provides technology and interdisciplinary care teams to support people living with serious illnesses and to improve experiences for patients and caregivers before and during end‑of‑life transitions. The company partners with healthcare providers, payers and risk‑bearing entities to serve populations including those with congestive heart failure, cancer and end‑stage renal disease. Vynca’s solutions aim to enable clinicians and partners to achieve better outcomes while allowing organizations to enter value‑based care arrangements. The firm highlights the scale of need—more than $205B is spent annually in the U.S. during end‑of‑life transitions—and seeks to expand access nationally. With new capital, Vynca plans to grow its clinical services organization and expand its technology suite to meet the needs of value‑based care programs as well as traditional care paradigms. Vynca provides an end-to-end advance care planning solution that helps health care organizations implement and scale advance care planning. Its technology supports education and engagement in advance care planning conversations, shared decision making, digital completion of documents, and ensures universal document accessibility across the care continuum. The company partners with over 80 hospitals, as well as health plans, ACOs, and five state registries. Led by co-founder and CEO Ryan Van Wert, M.D., Vynca plans to use new funding to expand into new geographies and develop new products. The company recently secured $10.3M in Series B financing to support that expansion and product development. The funding and partnerships aim to increase adoption and accessibility of advance care planning across provider networks.
