UnitySC supplies metrology and inspection equipment for the semiconductor industry, with a broad product range that includes advanced packaging measurement and patterned and unpatterned defect inspection for compound semiconductors, transparent substrates, and specialty devices. The company holds a leading position in 3DIC metrology and has hundreds of machines installed at wafer manufacturers and IC foundries. UnitySC plans to use the new funding to accelerate growth initiatives, finance working capital, and launch a new R&D program. It also intends to open new subsidiaries in China and Korea, expand manufacturing capabilities, and open a demo lab in Asia. Headquartered in Montbonnot, France, the company already has subsidiaries in Germany, Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea, China, and the USA.
