Dianosic is a biotechnology company specializing in nasal drug-delivery solutions, notably a biorésorbable nasal implant. The implant is designed to treat chronic allergic rhinitis and rhinosinusitis. The company is also developing nose-to-brain delivery approaches aimed at neurological diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. Dianosic announced a €7 million fundraising to accelerate its clinical and industrial development. The round is led by Aptar (Illinois), a global leader in drug-delivery systems, with participation from Noshaq (Liège), Capital Grand Est (Strasbourg) and Finovam Gestion (Lille). Co-founder and president Philippe Bastide said the financing validates the technology and will speed the company’s clinical and industrial progress. Dianosic develops therapeutic solutions for debilitating ENT conditions, including the ARIS family of treatments and the commercial CAVI-T device. The company intends to use new funding to finance a preclinical in vivo study and to launch a phase I clinical trial of its ARIS-R solution for chronic allergic rhinitis. In parallel it will continue developing ARIS-S for chronic sinusitis and explore other ENT applications. Dianosic also plans to use the funds to enhance the technical capability of its team. The company co-founded by Marc Augustin and CEO Philippe Bastide counts Prof. Christian Debry as scientific advisor. Its CAVI-T asymmetrical intranasal balloon is CE-marked, FDA-registered, and has been commercially available in Europe and the Middle East since 2021. Dianosic develops innovative medical devices for the management of ENT conditions. Its core product is CAVI-T, an asymmetrical intranasal balloon for hemostasis that stops spontaneous or postoperative nasal bleeding with low-pressure compression; CAVI-T was CE-marked in February 2020 and is patent-protected in France with planned coverage in Europe, the US, Japan and China. The company is also developing the Active Resorbable Intranasal Scaffold (ARIS) to deliver steroids for long-term (12-month) management of chronic sinusitis without requiring prior surgery. Dianosic intends to use its new funding to support the European launch of CAVI-T and to pursue ARIS development. The company was founded in July 2017 by Marc Augustin, Philippe Bastide and Pr Christian Debry and is incubated by SEMIA with support from the Grand Est regional ecosystem. Financially, Dianosic closed a first funding round of more than €1.5M in a mix of capital and non-dilutive funding.
