Aflabox builds a portable agritech platform combining UV imaging, AI and geolocated data to detect mycotoxins, evaluate the commercial quality of cereals and map risks along agricultural supply chains. The company is pursuing device validation and certification as a near-term objective. Following the seed investment, Aflabox plans to strengthen its commercial footprint in Kenya, Nigeria and Italy. The startup also intends to start construction of a micro-factory dedicated to producing its devices. The product targets quality assessment and risk mapping across cereal value chains, leveraging imaging and data analytics. The report did not disclose revenue, user or other operating metrics.
