4Moving Biotech is a single-product vehicle spun out of the startup studio 4P-Pharma and located on the Pasteur Lille campus. The company is advancing a repositioned molecule aimed at treating knee osteoarthritis, a market it believes could yield blockbuster sales when the product reaches market, targeted for 2029. Founded in 2020, 4Moving Biotech relies on its parent’s expertise in molecule repositioning while maintaining an independent capital structure. The firm has attracted support from foundations such as Arthritis and tech-transfer office SATT Lutech, alongside private investors and family offices. Financially, the company has now secured about €30 million since inception, including a €7.3 million i-Demo France 2030 grant obtained in 2023. Its latest €12 million financing was structured mostly as equity (80 %), keeping 4P-Pharma as the majority shareholder and ensuring runway for continued clinical development.
