  Midwestern BioAg manufactures and distributes fertilizers and practices aimed at building soil health while increasing yields and the nutritional quality of crops and forage. Its products engage soil life, enhance nutrient use efficiency, build soil organic matter, and improve crop resiliency to increase long-term farmland productivity. The company announced a $21.3 million recently closed capital raise and plans to deploy funds to expand its fertilizer manufacturing capacity. It also intends to build capacity to work closely with large food companies to improve the nutritional content of crops they process and distribute. Another stated use of proceeds is to reduce the environmental impacts associated with those crops, including fewer fertilizer losses to water supplies and reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Founded in 1983 and based in Wisconsin, Midwestern BioAg has facilities across the Midwest.
