Fyle operates an expense management platform that scans emails and messaging to fetch expense details via a Chrome extension and integrations with G Suite, Office 365 and WhatsApp. Users can capture expenses by clicking the extension on a flight ticket email or forwarding pictures on WhatsApp, and the platform scans and files expense reports in real time. The service employs proprietary algorithms that are retrained monthly to improve scanning abilities and to detect fraud and enforce company compliance and policies. Fyle maintains web and mobile apps and has launched an enterprise version with additional security features such as IP restriction and a single sign-in option. The company serves more than 300 clients across 17 countries — over 250 of them outside India — and says its revenue has grown fivefold in the last five months. Fyle plans to use new capital to develop more product solutions and integrations, expand internationally, pursue ERP tie-ups, and grow its sales, marketing and engineering headcount.
