The company is at an early, pre-launch stage and completed a $1.3 million seed raise to fund development. Fere has not disclosed a public product launch schedule or any plans for token issuance. - Chronicle
Participated · Seed · Mar 2025
Chronicle is a blockchain data provider founded in 2017 that operates an oracle network supplying authenticated, real-time data to issuers of tokenized assets. Its infrastructure has secured more than $20 billion in total value to date and recently introduced its Verified Asset Oracle used by clients such as Centrifuge, Superstate and M^0. The network relies on validators drawn from both traditional financial data providers and crypto-native organizations to ensure data security, auditability and cost efficiency. Chronicle positions itself as a bridge between traditional finance and digital assets, aiming to support the projected multitrillion-dollar real-world asset tokenization market. With fresh seed funding, the company plans to accelerate product development, broaden partnerships with banks and asset managers, and reinforce compliance capabilities. The objective is to supply the reliability and regulatory assurance institutions require as they move financial instruments onto blockchain rails.
- Yala
Participated · Seed · Oct 2024
Yala builds a modular liquidity protocol that issues Bitcoin-backed stablecoins and enables cross-chain deployments to connect Bitcoin with multi-chain DeFi ecosystems. Its core products include a multi-token system with $YU (a Bitcoin-backed stablecoin) and $YALA (governance token), plus features such as an overcollateralized stablecoin mechanism, an insurance derivatives service, and a MetaMint functionality. The protocol’s architecture supports deployments across EVM-compatible platforms like Ethereum and non-EVM systems such as Solana to enhance Bitcoin composability. Yala plans to expand engineering, growth, and security teams as it moves toward mainnet launch and will release a testnet next week. Financially, the team raised an $8 million seed round and reports over 2,000 BTC in committed deposits from investors, and the round was 3x oversubscribed.
