DeepNode is creating a blockchain-based “open intelligence” network where AI developers, compute providers, and validators collaborate and retain intellectual-property ownership while earning rewards tied to real-world model performance. The platform positions itself as a multi-tool capable of handling any predictive or decision-making task, from healthcare diagnostics to fraud detection and crypto trading. Its novel Proof-of-Work Relevance (PoWR) mechanism scores and compensates models based on utility rather than raw computation. Built on Base, an Ethereum Layer-2, the network targets sub-$0.01 transaction fees and plans to launch its mainnet by the end of Q1 2026. DeepNode has already secured $5 million in funding—a $2 million seed round at a $25 million valuation followed by a $3 million strategic round at a $75 million valuation. The seed financing was community-driven, featuring validators like WildSageLabs (RoundTable21) and Rizzo (DNA) alongside infrastructure partner Gateway.FM. The strategic round brought in Web3 and AI infrastructure specialists such as Blockchain Founders Fund, Side Door Ventures, TBV, IOBC Capital, Fomo Ventures, and Nestoris. These resources will fund the multi-year roadmap to scale the network across multiple industry verticals and accelerate the mainnet launch.
