The company has formal data-sharing agreements with long-term care providers, government databases (including CMS and the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program), academic studies, and individual users, and is finalizing contracts with carriers to ingest anonymized insurer data. Waterlily launched its platform publicly in March 2024; since launch its MRR is more than 22x its first-month number and average month-over-month MRR growth has been 58%. Revenue is SaaS-based at $250 per advisor/agent seat per month; the company counts eight major enterprise customers including Prudential and several other Fortune 100 insurance carriers, plus hundreds of independent advisors and agents. The startup has nine full-time employees plus contractors and plans to expand into disability, critical illness, hospital indemnity and Medicare planning, explore carrier underwriting use cases, and potentially expand to Canada, the UK and parts of Asia.
