Assetflo, founded in 2019 in Kitchener-Waterloo, offers an IoT asset-tracking platform that turns every physical object into a searchable endpoint. Its patented mesh-network and adaptive RTLS technology repurpose existing infrastructure—such as Wi-Fi routers and Geotab telematics hubs—augmented by Assetflo sensors to deliver real-time indoor and outdoor location data on a 3D map. Machine-learning algorithms dynamically choose between RTLS, GPS, Bluetooth and other signals to minimize hardware costs while maintaining coverage. The solution is already deployed with multiple undisclosed Fortune 500 companies across logistics and manufacturing sectors. Near-term, Assetflo is perfecting its “digital floor” while working toward full digital twins that help clients address cost, productivity, compliance and security needs. The company has raised about $3 million USD in venture funding and secured an additional $1 million USD in grants to date.
