  Headquartered in Tokyo, ByWill supports companies and local governments across Japan in achieving carbon neutrality by turning their decarbonization efforts into monetizable carbon credits, primarily through the J-Credit scheme. Its core offerings span environmental-value creation support (credit generation), carbon-credit brokerage, decarbonization consulting and related brand-building services. The company positions itself as a co-creator that transforms green transformation (GX) from a compliance cost into a growth driver, aiming to create a virtuous cycle between environmental and economic value. Since announcing the first close of its Series B in July 2025, ByWill has continued to grow, expanding its nationwide partner network and increasing the number of J-Credit creation support contracts, though no specific operating metrics were disclosed. Demand is buoyed by a strengthening domestic and international carbon-credit market, including the forthcoming GX-ETS Phase 2 in 2026. The newly raised capital will be directed toward improving the productivity of its environmental-value services, expanding credit-creation geographies and methodologies, and hiring talent to sustain rapid growth. Cumulative funding now stands at ¥3 billion, giving the company additional resources to accelerate its mission of making GX something organizations “want to do” rather than “have to do.”
