Ambi builds a Learner Engagement Platform that reimagines the higher-education student experience by putting students at the center of learning. Its interface is designed to feel like the social networks students use, with tight integrations to course materials and learning management systems such as Canvas and Blackboard. The product is the result of three years of research and more than eighteen months of development and is built with student privacy and safety in mind, compliant with FERPA and WCAG 2.0. Ambi positions itself as a private, productive social network for college that focuses on productivity, communication, and community formation. The company has said it aims to be a global leader in centralized digital learning from college prep through higher education and was selected to present at the 2019 ASU GSV Summit Growth Track. Ambi also added Mark Blosil as Senior Vice President of Sales and closed $6.5M in combined Series A and seed funding.
