Rezdy provides software tools for tours-and-activities providers, including reservation, inventory, scheduling, and booking engines. It also operates a marketplace that aggregates tours and activities for resellers such as travel agents, concierge desks, online travel agencies, and reservation engines. The platform distributes products through integrations with partners including Viator, Redballoon, Ctrip, and City Discovery and via roughly 1,000 travel agents and hotel concierges. Founded in 2011 in Sydney, Rezdy had previously raised $4 million in prior rounds and recently secured $1.8 million in new funding. The company plans to use the new capital to open an office in Las Vegas. Rezdy’s software includes basic marketing tools to help customers sell and manage tour products. Rezdy operates an online reservation system for tours and activities. The company was founded by French-born entrepreneur Simon Lenoir. It initially worked out of the Fishburners co-working space and has since moved into its own office. Rezdy has disclosed funding of $550,000 to date, having raised $250,000 in February and an additional $300,000 more recently. Investors include Sydney-based super angel fund Grand Prix Capital (via the Sydney Angels network), Les Szekely and entrepreneur Jeffrey Tobias. Rezdy is a real-time booking system that provides back-end software allowing tours and activities operators to book and manage customers instantaneously. The six-month-old startup has been based in Sydney's Fishburners co-working space for the past three months and has just taken on its first paying customer. Rezdy's pricing requires businesses to commit for six months at $19 per month. The company secured $250,000 in funding from Grand Prix Capital to support growth. Rezdy plans an ambitious global growth push over the next year and intends to scale by adding IT and sales staff to support expansion.
