Overview

GreenSky is a FinTech platform that offers paperless solutions and financial services to businesses of all sizes. The company was founded on the idea that technology could improve the user experience for payments, credit, and commerce. GreenSky’s service provides a payment solution for customers while helping businesses grow. Based in Atlanta, GreenSky has helped more than 1.7 million customers and funded over 12 billion loans. It partners with more than 14 large banking institutions granting loans to customers through an easily accessible mobile app. The loans are funded by the banking institutions and provide consumers access to funds for things like home improvement and healthcare. Home improvement services like HVAC, pools and spas, windows and doors, roofing, home automation, remodeling, and more can qualify for a GreenSky loan. GreenSky also provides funding for medical issues that may not be covered by insurance. These include cosmetic procedures, dental work, vision services, and even veterinary care. GreenSky’s loans are designed as an alternative to credit cards for customers who need a loan for a smaller amount than what banks generally lend. GreenSky customers have prime to prime plus credit.

  • Funnelytics

    Led · Seed · Jan 2022

Funnelytics offers a mapping tool and analytics platform with a data-collection script that reports real-time activity across web pages, ad platforms, CRMs and other customer touchpoints. The startup supports a free mapping-tool community of about 280,000 users while not disclosing paid-customer counts. Founded in June 2018, the company has 19 employees. The new funding will be used to launch version 2.0 of its mapping tool, expand its mid-market offering, and build a community-driven marketplace for services around the platform. Funnelytics emphasizes anonymizing consumer information in light of shifting privacy standards and the phase-out of third-party cookies. Management said it raised this internal round from past investors because of existing relationships and their understanding of the company’s vision. Funnelytics builds visual digital marketing analytics software that lets users map custom funnels, use templates, forecast conversion rates, expenses and ROI, and track campaign performance. Its tracking script integrates with tools such as ActiveCampaign and Leadpages, and the company plans new integrations with Clickfunnels and Shopify. In the two years since founding it has generated over $3 million in revenue, attracted over 100,000 free users and more than 10,000 paying customers across 140 countries. Funnelytics offers a free tier and paid subscriptions (marketer $470/year; pro $790/year). The company will use the seed capital to finance growth, improve data flow from sources like Google and Facebook, and build and launch “Funnelytics 2.0.” CEO and founder Mikael Dia launched the company in June 2018 in Toronto to help marketers better visualize customer conversion paths.

  • Cyclica

    Led · Series A · Sep 2016

Cyclica offers an integrated proteome-wide drug discovery platform that applies structure-based, AI-augmented in silico methods to polypharmacology. Its core products include Ligand Design and Ligand Express, powered by MatchMaker™, a deep-learning proteome screening technology, and POEM™, a supervised learning tool for predicting molecular properties. The platform is designed to prioritize novel, drug-like chemical matter based on on- and off-target polypharmacological profiles and developmental properties. The company plans to use new funding to continue innovation on its platform and to expand application within the pharmaceutical industry and into adjacent sectors such as agro-chemicals. Cyclica is accelerating a commercial strategy to create and own hundreds of drug discovery programs via spin-outs and joint ventures, facilitated by its Cyclica Academic Partnership Program (CAPP). Recent collaborations cited include EntheogeniX Biosciences, NineteenGale Therapeutics, Rosetta Therapeutics, the Rare Diseases Medicine Accelerator, a joint venture with Mannin Research, and two stealth JVs encompassing over 50 programs. Cyclica provides a predictive analytics platform designed to evaluate and compare small molecules and predict how each will interact with the human proteome. Its platform currently includes PROBEx (proteome-docking), SWITCHx (ligand effect prediction) and DIVEx (systems biology and drug-protein interactomes). The company intends to use new funding to scale sales and marketing efforts and to expand innovation through continued product development. Cyclica completed a $2.4M financing (Series A1) to support these initiatives. The company is led by President and CEO Naheed Kurji. The product is positioned to augment drug discovery pipelines and advance assets toward the bedside. Cyclica Inc. is a Toronto-based startup that uses big data and applied analytic techniques to increase productivity in pharmaceutical research and development. Led by CEO Paul Angelico, the company develops pharmaceutical drugs, nutraceutical ingredients, and personal care products using its proprietary Ligand Express™ computational analysis platform. Ligand Express simulates the interaction of compounds with all known human proteins to assess safety, efficacy and cross-reactivity. Through a partnership with IBM Research, Cyclica is creating vast stores of proprietary data to support its analyses. The company has received seed funding from GreenSky Accelerator Fund I and is still accepting angel investment; the amount was not disclosed. Cyclica said the seed proceeds will be used to accelerate growth.
