  • Rubi Laboratories

    Participated · Equity · Mar 2026

Rubi Laboratories develops an enzyme-driven platform that converts captured carbon dioxide into cellulose suitable for lyocell and viscose. The process uses a cascade of engineered enzymes in aqueous reactors sized to fit inside shipping-container modules, producing white cellulose within minutes as CO2 is added. Rubi has used AI and machine learning to improve enzyme efficacy and stability and plans to move toward continuous production. The company is building a demonstration-scale system intended to produce tens of tons of material and intends to supply apparel and other industries that use cellulose. Rubi has tested its material with 15 pilot partners, including H&M, Patagonia, and Walmart, and has booked more than $60 million in non-binding off-take agreements with a couple of partners. Leadership includes co-founder and CEO Neeka Mashouf, who founded the company with her twin sister Leila.

  • Sellpy

    Led · Equity · Jan 2026

Sellpy operates a digital marketplace and logistics service for second-hand fashion, allowing users to ship unwanted garments to the company, which photographs, lists, and sells the items online. The company, founded in 2014 by Michael Arnör (now CEO), Oskar Nielsen and Philip Gunnstam, targets the fast-growing pre-loved apparel segment where 71 % of Swedish second-hand clothing sales already occur online. Backed by fashion giant H&M since 2015, Sellpy recorded a record 2024 net revenue of just under SEK 1.6 billion, up from roughly SEK 1.2 billion in 2023. Despite the top-line growth, 2024 EBITDA came in at –SEK 65 million. Management frames continued capital injections from H&M as support for “continued growth,” indicating an ongoing expansion strategy. With H&M as majority shareholder since 2019, Sellpy benefits from both capital and potential operational synergies with the global retailer.

  • Yaga

    Participated · Series A · Oct 2025

Founded in Estonia in 2017, Yaga operates an online marketplace focused on second-hand fashion, combining social features with secure escrow payments and localised logistics. The company has become the leading resale platform in South Africa and now attracts more than 12 million monthly visits. Yaga’s value proposition centres on affordability—items are typically listed at 50–80 percent below new retail prices—while advancing sustainable consumption. Revenue is generated from transaction fees, though specific figures were not disclosed in the article. With its newly raised capital, the company plans to deepen its footprint across Africa and expand into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Management believes the global shift toward resale, projected to push the second-hand apparel market to $367 billion by 2029, provides a large, tail-wind market opportunity. The fresh funding will also be used to grow the team and enhance product capabilities in existing markets.

  • GALY

    Participated · Series B · Sep 2024

Galy, led by CEO and Founder Luciano Bueno, develops cellular agriculture products beginning with GALY Cotton. Its core product, GALY Cotton, is a lab-grown cotton that the company says fully replicates traditional cotton in quality because it originates from an actual plant. Galy has developed a minimum-viable product and is working to enhance quality parameters and scale production from lab to pre-industrial scale. The company plans to expand its platform beyond cotton to other plant-cell products, targeting a global agricultural market valued in the article at $1.7 trillion annually. Galy highlights ESG benefits, customizable quality, and a roadmap to reach cost parity with conventional cotton. The company completed a $33M Series B to fund scaling and product development.

  • Syre

    Participated · Series A · May 2024

Syre develops textile-to-textile recycling technology that produces circular polyester with quality comparable to virgin polyester while delivering improved sustainability performance. The company’s core solution targets hyperscale recycling starting with polyester to reduce emissions and waste in the textile supply chain. Syre acquired a patented recycling technology developed over more than nine years by North Carolina–based Premirr, which demonstrated energy-efficient conversion of post-consumer waste into circular polyester that can be rapidly scaled. The company plans to finance and commission a blueprint plant in the U.S. later this year and to build its first two gigascale textile-to-textile recycling plants. Syre was founded in 2023 and is led by CEO Dennis Nobelius. The company raised significant equity capital in the round described below to fund plant construction and technology acquisition.
