  • Critical Loop

    Led · Series A · Apr 2026

Critical Loop builds an integrated hardware and software energy platform that combines battery storage, on-site generation, and Cygnus, its software-defined power controller, into deployable modular microgrids. Its core product line includes the CLB-5100, a scalable 1 MW integrated battery system that can connect to on-site generation, existing grid infrastructure, and distributed generation, and can be moved to locations with constrained grid capacity. The company highlights deployments and wins such as optimizing an 11 MW solar-plus-battery system at San Diego International Airport, keeping a manufacturing facility operational for eight months during a utility outage, enabling Terawatt Infrastructure to secure over 4 MW of incremental capacity across two EV charging sites, and deploying two hybrid microgrids at Mojave test facilities within days. Critical Loop has secured a supply agreement with LG Energy Solution Vertech for US-made batteries and has received support from California programs and regulatory recognition. The company is currently operating across California and plans to expand into other territories where grid constraints drive demand. To date, Critical Loop reports $49 million in total committed equity and debt funding.

  • 8Flow

    Participated · Series A · Apr 2025

8Flow provides an enterprise workflow mapping platform that observes, maps, and optimizes support and back-office workflows to prepare enterprise data for AI-driven workflow automation. The product helps organizations identify human behaviors and create blueprints for training and guiding AI agents ‘on the job’ to automate processes at scale. Its proprietary platform has tracked more than 600 million events and is approaching 1 billion events, which the company says enables measurable productivity improvements. With strategic backing from ServiceNow and Okta, 8Flow is leveraging partnerships to address challenges in organizing enterprise data across complex and fragmented system environments. The company frames its mission like Waze for the enterprise—crowdsourcing workflow data to enable autonomous agent navigation of business processes. 8Flow aims to turn real-world workflow observations into actionable automation blueprints that improve productivity and enable scaled agentic automation. 8Flow.ai is launching out of stealth with an enterprise-grade, self-learning workflow automation engine that integrates with tools like Zendesk, ServiceNow and Salesforce Service Cloud. It currently ships as a Chrome extension that learns agents' repetitive steps (copying and pasting between apps) and surfaces one-click actions to speed task completion. The product captures usage data and feedback to iteratively build reusable "bricks" and, over time, train machine-learning models to generate AI-led workflows tailored to each user. Today the team is focused on phase one — optimizing the user interface and experience — while using customer deployments to collect data and prove value. Customers such as FloorFound report increased efficiency and accuracy from eliminating tab-switching and manual data transfer. Co-founder and CEO Boaz Hecht previously led SkyGiraffe (acquired by ServiceNow) and remained at ServiceNow through March 2022; he founded 8Flow with former colleagues Josh Russ and Yev Goldin.

  • Gravity

    Participated · Series A · Jan 2025

Gravity provides an end-to-end carbon accounting and energy management platform that automates data collection, generates audit-ready sustainability reports, and integrates with customers' existing energy tracking and ESG systems. The platform leverages AI (including LLMs) and bill-scanning to reduce manual disclosure work—one customer reported saving an estimated 4,600 hours annually—and has convinced over 60% of its customers to switch from other providers. Gravity serves Fortune 500 companies, global enterprises, and private equity portfolios, citing customers such as WM, Autodesk, MiddleGround Capital, McCarthy Holdings, TTI, and Wisconsin Aluminum Factory. The company has driven 400% year-over-year revenue growth and reports project-level outcomes including a $2M annual savings from an HVAC optimization and $1M in federal incentives secured for a construction project. Gravity combines automated reporting with a marketplace, financing partnerships, and energy audits to turn carbon accounting into cost-saving actions. The company plans to use the Series A proceeds to invest in product R&D, expand its energy-efficiency marketplace, and grow its team in the US and EU to meet regulatory reporting needs.

  • Finny

    Led · Seed · Dec 2024

Finny provides registered investment advisors with an end-to-end, AI-driven workflow that finds, prioritizes and engages high-intent prospects across email, LinkedIn, voicemail and other channels. Its proprietary “F-Score” engine scans thousands of data points—such as liquidity events and career changes—to surface money-in-motion opportunities and then automates personalized follow-ups. Launched in March 2024 by AI engineers Eden Ovadia, Victoria Toli and Theo Janson, the platform already serves more than 400 advisory firms. Advisors using Finny report an average of $7.7 million in new client assets per advisor annually at near-zero customer acquisition cost, helping drive a 50× increase in the company’s revenue since January 2025. Backed by institutions including Y Combinator, Maple VC and Venrock, Finny has raised over $21 million to date. The fresh capital will expand engineering and product teams, deepen AI capabilities, and add new inbound and outbound growth tools. Management’s priority is to scale the technology so advisors can capture organic growth without adding workload.
